My name is Henry Mackaman.

I was born November 10, 1991 in Oakland, California.  I was declared brain dead on April 10, 2013 in Madison, Wisconsin. I was sick with bacterial meningitis serotype B but no one knew. The doctors told me I had the flu; I thought I was having a stroke.   Now I am an organ donor.  I gave the gift of life– to my organ recipients, but also to my friends and family– and for that, I will never be forgotten.
